1. About these Terms
These Terms are an agreement between you and [DateVet Private Limited] (“DateVet”, “we”), with its registered office at [address], Jaipur, Rajasthan. They govern datevet.com and the DateVet apps (the “Service”). By creating an account you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Breeding and Animal Welfare Policy.
2. Who can use DateVet
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- One account per person. You may not use DateVet if we have removed you before.
- Any pet on your profile must be yours or in your lawful care.
3. Your account and verification
Keep your information accurate and your login secure. We verify phone numbers, selfies and government IDs through licensed third-party providers, and may limit features, including messaging, until verification passes. Verification lowers risk; it does not guarantee anyone’s identity or intentions.
4. Pets on DateVet
- Pet details and health records you upload must be true and current.
- Pets are never for sale on DateVet, and no money for animals may change hands through the Service.
- Breeding matches are allowed only under our Breeding and Animal Welfare Policy.
- We may ask for veterinary records at any time and remove pets or badges that cannot be confirmed.
5. How you must behave
Follow the Community Guidelines. You must not harass anyone, post sexual or hateful content, impersonate others, run scams or ask for money, advertise, involve anyone under 18, harm animals, or share any content prohibited under Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
6. Meeting in person
You are responsible for your own safety when you meet anyone. DateVet does not run criminal background checks. Meet in public, pet-friendly places, use share-my-date, and follow our safety guide. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for how members behave offline.
7. Your content
You own what you post. You give DateVet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and adapt it to run and promote the Service while your account is active. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the app store or your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds follow our Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refund Policy. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of price changes for existing subscribers. Prices include applicable taxes unless shown otherwise.
9. Partners and other services
Venues, vet partners and event hosts are independent businesses. Vet partners review records for verification; they do not give veterinary care through DateVet. We are not responsible for partner services or for third-party sites linked from the Service.
10. Our intellectual property
The DateVet name, logos, design and software belong to DateVet or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell any part of the Service.
11. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may warn, suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms or put others or animals at risk, and may report serious matters to the authorities.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. We do not promise any number of matches, meets or outcomes, or that the Service will always be available or error-free.
13. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, DateVet’s total liability to you is limited to the higher of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and INR [5,000]. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
14. Indemnity
You agree to compensate DateVet for losses caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
15. Grievances
Contact our Grievance Officer, [name], at [grievance email]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days.
16. Law, changes and contact
