Our commitment
DateVet explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We have zero tolerance for content or conduct that abuses, exploits, sexualizes, or endangers anyone under 18. These standards apply to all users and all DateVet apps, website content, profiles, photos, messages, and community interactions.
Adults only
DateVet is for adults aged 18 and over. Children must not create or use an account. Misrepresenting age or helping a child access DateVet is prohibited. Accounts identified as belonging to anyone under 18 will be removed.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Creating, uploading, requesting, sharing, selling, distributing, or linking to CSAM, including AI-generated or manipulated depictions of child sexual abuse.
- Child grooming: building trust with a child to facilitate sexual contact, abuse, or exchange of sexual imagery, online or offline.
- Sexualizing children, soliciting sexual acts or images from children, or promoting child sexual abuse.
- Sextortion: threatening, coercing, or blackmailing a child using real or alleged intimate images or information.
- Child trafficking or advertising, arranging, or facilitating commercial sexual exploitation of children.
- Predatory behavior, inappropriate sexual interactions directed at children, facilitating child endangerment, or evading enforcement by linking to prohibited material elsewhere.
Enforcement and removal
Child safety reports must be prioritized and reviewed. Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM, DateVet will promptly remove it or disable access, restrict implicated accounts during review, and permanently ban accounts responsible for CSAE. Relevant evidence will be preserved securely only as legally required or permitted. Attempts to evade enforcement or create replacement accounts are prohibited.
Legal compliance and reporting to authorities
DateVet is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including relevant Indian laws. Confirmed CSAM must be reported to the appropriate regional law enforcement or child protection authority, or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as applicable. DateVet will cooperate with lawful investigations and disclose relevant information as required or permitted by law.
Report a child safety concern
Anyone, including non-members, can report suspected CSAE, CSAM, an underage account, or other child safety concerns to verdant.it.infra@gmail.com. Include the relevant username, profile or content link, and a brief description. Do not download, attach, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM.
Where the DateVet app is available, use its in-app report or feedback mechanism to flag a profile, message, or content. The website currently does not offer accounts or in-app reporting; email is the available reporting channel here. In-app reporting must be available before the app is offered to users.
Reports will be treated confidentially, with information shared only as needed to investigate, protect children, or comply with law. Retaliation against someone who reports a concern is prohibited.
Designated child safety point of contact
DateVet’s designated child safety contact is reachable at verdant.it.infra@gmail.com. This contact receives user reports and Google Play notifications about CSAE and must be able to explain DateVet’s review and enforcement procedures and take action when required.
If a child is in immediate danger
Contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately. In India, call 112. Suspected online child sexual abuse can also be reported through India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Do not wait for a reply from DateVet in an emergency.
Related standards
These standards supplement DateVet’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. They are written with reference to Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy. Publication of this page does not replace the app’s reporting tools, enforcement processes, legal obligations, or Play Console declarations.
